Career Opportunities at Cath Labs

The Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab has announced temporary job opportunities at Cath Labs established in the districts of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Gujrat, Bahawalnagar, Sheikhupura, Toba Tek Singh, Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Chakwal, and Jhelum. The department is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals. These positions come with an attractive salary and a special package for eligible candidates.

Available Positions

1. Interventional Cardiologist

Qualification:

  • FCPS (Interventional Cardiology) or Diploma American Board (Interventional Cardiology) or an equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 55 years.

2. Medical Officer (Cardiology)

Qualification:

  • MBBS with completed postgraduate training (FCPS/MD/Diplomate American Board Cardiology) or MBBS with 5 years of relevant experience in Cardiology after house job.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 45 years.

3. Cath Lab Technologist

Qualification:

  • BS (Hons) in Medical Imaging Technology or an equivalent qualification recognized by HEC.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a Cath Lab.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 40 years.

4. Charge Nurse (Cath Lab)

Qualification:

  • BSN/Post RN or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC).

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a Cath Lab or CCU.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 40 years.

General Terms & Conditions

  • All appointments are temporary, project-specific, and non-transferable.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.

  • Submission of fake or incomplete documents will result in disqualification.

  • Age and experience will be calculated up to the last date of application submission.

  • Salary package will be according to the Government of Punjab policy.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.

  • Interview details will be communicated through official channels.

  • Candidates must bring original documents along with attested photocopies at the time of the interview.

  • The department reserves the right to reject or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.

  • The department's decision regarding eligibility, shortlisting, and selection will be final.
