Job Description

The Upscaling of Green Pakistan Program (Wildlife Component) Balochistan is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Community Development Specialist (BPS-18). The appointment will be made under a development project being implemented at the provincial level in Balochistan.

The selected candidate will play a key role in community engagement, social mobilization, stakeholder coordination, rural development initiatives, and project implementation activities. The position is being offered on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, including a six-month probation period, and may be extended based on satisfactory performance.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in social sciences, rural development, community participation, and development sector projects who wish to contribute to environmental conservation and sustainable development initiatives in Balochistan.

Position Details

Position: Community Development Specialist
Scale: BPS-18 (PPS-06 to PPS-08 Equivalent)
Monthly Pay Package: Rs. 218,750
Number of Vacancies: 01
Location: Quetta, Balochistan
Maximum Age Limit: 65 Years
Project Duration: Initial 2 Years (Extendable Based on Performance)

Required Qualification

Candidates must possess at least a Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • MPA (Master of Public Administration)

  • Social Sciences

  • Anthropology

  • Sociology

  • Social Work

  • Development Studies

  • Rural Development

Experience

  • Experience requirements will be according to the approved Terms of Reference (TORs).

  • Relevant experience in community development, social mobilization, development projects, environmental programs, or public sector initiatives will be advantageous.
