University of Sargodha Research Assistant Job 2026

The Department of Biotechnology, University of Sargodha, is inviting applications for a Research Assistant position under an HEC-funded NRPU research project titled "Pharmacogenetic Analysis of Drug Metabolizing Enzymes for Their Effect on the Efficacy of Antihypertensive Drugs." The project is supervised by Dr. Misbah Hussain.

Position Details

  • Post: Research Assistant

  • No. of Positions: 01

  • Duration: 1 Year (Extendable up to 2 Years)

  • Salary: Rs. 100,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master's degree or higher in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan or abroad.

  • Strong report writing and data handling skills.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

    • Human sample collection

    • Research data management

    • Digital and research-related skills
