Job Description

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore has announced contract-based employment opportunities for Punjab-domiciled Pakistani candidates at UET Main Campus Lahore and UET Faisalabad Campus. Applications are invited for technical and support staff positions including Lab Assistant, Senior Driver, and Driver.

These positions offer an opportunity to work at one of Pakistan's leading engineering universities. Candidates meeting the required qualifications and experience criteria are encouraged to apply before the closing date.

Available Positions

1. Lab Assistant (BS-09)

Number of Posts: 01
Campus: Basic Sciences and Humanities Department, UET Faisalabad Campus
Age Limit: 18–40 Years

Qualification & Experience

  • Secondary School Examination or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lab/Workshop Attendant.

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or equivalent qualification.

2. Senior Driver (BS-08)

Number of Posts: 03

UET Main Campus Lahore: 02 Posts
UET Faisalabad Campus: 01 Post

Age Limit: 18–45 Years

Qualification & Experience

  • Secondary School Certificate (SSC).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving light and/or heavy vehicles.

  • Knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance.

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a PSV License.

3. Driver (BS-05)

Number of Posts: 02

UET Main Campus Lahore: 01 Post
UET Faisalabad Campus: 01 Post

Age Limit: 18–45 Years

Qualification & Experience

  • Middle Pass.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving light and/or heavy vehicles.

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and routine repairs.

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a PSV License.

General Instructions

  • Age relaxation may be granted in suitable cases.

  • Applications should be submitted on simple paper.

  • Candidates must attach:

    • One recent passport-size photograph

    • Copy of CNIC

    • Driving License (for Driver and Senior Driver positions)

    • Educational certificates

    • Experience certificates

  • Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.

  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
