This recruitment is announced by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore on behalf of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab. Hiring is being conducted under the Punjab Locum Hiring Act, 2025 for multiple public sector hospitals across Punjab.

POSITIONS & HOSPITALS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

MEDICAL OFFICER / WOMEN MEDICAL OFFICER
• Institutions include:

  • Lady Willingdon Hospital, Lahore

  • King Edward Medical University, Lahore

  • Sadiq Abbasi Hospital, Bahawalpur

  • DHQ Hospital, Narowal
    • Number of posts: Multiple (5–10 per institution)
    • Requirement: MBBS or equivalent (PMDC recognized)
    • PMDC permanent registration mandatory
    • Preference: 1-year house job + relevant experience after house job

PERFUSIONIST
• Institutions:

  • Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology

  • Nawaz Sharif Cardiac Center, Samli
    • Qualification: BS (Hons) Cardiac Perfusion or equivalent (HEC recognized)
    • Number of posts: Limited (2 per institution)

PHYSIOTHERAPIST
• Institutions:

  • Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore

  • Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology

  • Bahawalpur Cardiology Institute

  • D.G. Khan Institute

  • Wazirabad Institute
    • Qualification: DPT or BSc Physiotherapy (HEC recognized)
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification preferred

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• PMDC registration required for medical posts
• Valid MBBS or relevant HEC recognized qualification
• Preference for candidates with relevant clinical experience
• Only eligible candidates from non-government institutions
• Shortlisting strictly based on criteria
