Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) has announced a career opportunity for the position of Management Trainee Officer (Monitoring & Reporting). The organization works under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) and focuses on policy support, planning, monitoring, and performance evaluation of Pakistan’s power sector entities.

Management Trainee Officer (Monitoring & Reporting)
This position is designed for fresh and early-career professionals with strong analytical and reporting capabilities. The selected candidate will work on monitoring, reporting systems, and performance evaluation frameworks within the power sector.

Qualification
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields. Applicants with a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics (minimum 16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institution are also eligible.

A minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent 80% marks for local graduates and 65% for foreign graduates) is required. The degree must have been completed within the last 3 years. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and dashboard tools will be preferred. Strong report writing, communication, presentation, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Knowledge Areas
Applicants should understand data collection, validation, and reporting processes. Familiarity with dashboard reporting, data visualization, and Pakistan’s power sector including DISCO operations is an advantage. Basic understanding of operational indicators such as losses, recoveries, and receivables is also required.

General Conditions
Maximum age limit is 30 years with no age relaxation. Selected candidates will receive a monthly lump-sum remuneration of Rs. 100,000. The initial engagement period is one year, after which performance-based evaluation may lead to further consideration for Assistant Specialist roles. Otherwise, the contract will end automatically.
