WAPDA Foundation Jobs 2026 – Manager Transformer Reclamation Distribution Workshop (BPS-19)

The Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Foundation (PWF) has announced an excellent career opportunity for experienced professionals. Applications are invited for the position of Manager Transformer Reclamation Distribution Workshop (BPS-19) at Nowshera. The appointment will be made on a contract basis, offering a challenging role for individuals with extensive experience in transformer maintenance, workshop management, and distribution operations.

Position Details

Manager Transformer Reclamation Distribution Workshop (BPS-19)

  • Organization: Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF)

  • Location: Nowshera

  • No. of Posts: 1

  • Employment Type: Contract (Initially one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering (Electrical) from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

  • Retired WAPDA, DISCOs, or NTDC employees with a good service record are also eligible.

Experience

Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience as:

  • Superintending Engineer

  • Manager (BPS-19 or above)

  • Equivalent positions (CEs/GMs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise transformer repair and reclamation activities.

  • Manage transformer reclamation distribution workshops.

  • Ensure quality control of repaired distribution transformers.

  • Oversee transformer stores and inventory management.

  • Inspect materials required for transformer repairs.

  • Handle billing and recovery related to transformer repair services.

  • Coordinate with corporate entities for business expansion.

  • Maintain effective liaison with clients.

  • Manage disposal of dismantled transformer materials.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and management abilities.

  • Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.

  • Report writing and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to improve operational efficiency and workshop performance.
