The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), a state-owned enterprise under the Companies Act 2017, invites applications for the post of Company Secretary (OPF-11). The OPF assists overseas Pakistanis and their families across Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir, in areas of education, housing, financial assistance, welfare, and airport facilitation.

Eligibility

  • Member of a recognized body of professional accountants OR member of corporate/chartered secretaries institute OR Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognized university

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years as a Company Secretary, preferably in Corporate Governance, SOE governance, regulatory compliance

  • Maximum Age: 50 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company secretarial practices

  • Draft and manage legal and corporate documentation efficiently

  • Implement corporate governance policies and frameworks within OPF

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for board and management

  • Support strategic decision-making with legal and governance guidance

  • Ensure transparency, integrity, and organizational compliance across all OPF operations

  • Strong communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills

  • Appointment based on “fit and proper” criteria as per SOEs Act 2023
