NPPMCL is a corporate entity managing and operating RLNG-based combined cycle power plants in Pakistan. The organization is hiring a senior-level plant management professional for operations, maintenance, and asset management of large-scale power generation facilities.

📌 Job Role Overview

The General Manager Plant will be responsible for overall plant operations, maintenance, performance optimization, and management of combined cycle power plant systems, ensuring efficient and reliable electricity generation.

📋 Key Responsibilities / Features

Overall management of combined cycle power plant operations
Supervision of operations and maintenance (O&M) teams
Asset management of plant machinery and systems
Ensuring optimal performance of gas and steam turbine systems
Planning and execution of maintenance schedules
Coordination of major inspections and technical shutdowns
Ensuring compliance with operational safety and efficiency standards
Monitoring plant performance and improving output efficiency

🎓 Required Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) from HEC/PEC recognized university
Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be preferred

💼 Experience Requirements

Minimum 15 years experience in the power sector (national or international)
At least 8 years experience in operations, maintenance, or asset management of combined cycle power plants
Experience working with O&M contractors/operators is required
Experience in major inspections of gas turbines or steam turbines will be an advantage
Knowledge of C-Type steam turbine inspection is preferred
