The Office of the Administrator, J&K State Property in Pakistan is seeking qualified and experienced Advocates or Law Firms for the appointment of Legal Advisor and Assistant Legal Advisor. The selected candidates will represent and defend legal cases on behalf of J&K State Property in Pakistan before courts and tribunals.

Positions Available

1. Legal Advisor – Lahore
Monthly Retainership: Rs. 175,000

2. Assistant Legal Advisor – Rawalpindi
Monthly Retainership: Rs. 150,000

Responsibilities

The selected legal advisor will be responsible for handling legal matters related to J&K State Property in Pakistan. Duties include:

Representing and defending cases before courts and tribunals, providing legal opinions, preparing pleadings, assisting in property and tenancy matters, handling land management issues, and supporting estate administration and litigation matters.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have a valid license to practice law. For the Legal Advisor position, a Supreme Court of Pakistan license is preferred. For the Assistant Legal Advisor position, a High Court license is required/preferred.

Candidates should have experience in civil litigation, especially in property, estate, tenancy, and land revenue matters. Preference may be given to candidates holding LL.B or LL.M qualifications and those working independently or serving as Senior Partner/Owner of a law firm.

Applicants must provide details of enrollment date, courts of practice, number and nature of important cases handled, and professional experience. Candidates must have good professional standing and no criminal record or professional misconduct history.
