The Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan, invites applications and nominations from suitable and experienced individuals for the appointment of Members of the National Commission on Rights of Child (NCRC) for Punjab, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and Balochistan.

These appointments are aimed at strengthening child rights governance and ensuring effective implementation of the NCRC Act, 2017.

Positions Available

  • Member (Punjab)

  • Member (Balochistan)

  • Member (Islamabad Capital Territory – ICT)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

  • Have at least 10 years of experience in the field of child rights, child protection, social development, or related sectors

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of child protection laws and policies

  • Possess leadership experience in social sector organizations or government bodies

Tenure & Benefits

  • Term: 3 Years

  • Remuneration: Equivalent to MP-II Scale (Government of Pakistan)

  • Full-time statutory appointment under NCRC Act 2017

Key Responsibilities

Members of NCRC will:

  • Safeguard and promote child rights across provinces

  • Monitor implementation of child protection laws

  • Advise government on policy and legal reforms

  • Investigate complaints related to child rights violations

  • Coordinate with national and international child protection organizations
