Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) Jobs 2026 – HR Consultant

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise operating under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications from highly experienced professionals for the position of HR Consultant. The appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year, offering an excellent opportunity for HR leaders with extensive experience in public sector organizations and strategic human resource management.

Position Details

HR Consultant

  • Organization: Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC)

  • Location: PMDC Head Office, Islamabad

  • Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (One Year)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized national or international institution.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in strategic HR management within large-scale industrial organizations in Pakistan or abroad.

    • At least 5 years of experience as a Functional Head or Leadership role in Public Sector Organizations (PSOs) or State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with a workforce of 2,000 or more employees.

    • Strong expertise in:

      • Human Resource Strategy

      • Compensation & Benefits

      • Industrial Relations

      • Labour Laws and CBA Management

      • Talent Management

      • Succession Planning

      • HR Governance and Organizational Development

    • Preference will be given to candidates from the Mining or Energy Sector. Additional experience in administration, supply chain, or industrial relations will be an advantage.

  • Maximum Age: 65 years (on the closing date of applications)

Key Responsibilities

The selected HR Consultant will:

  • Develop and implement the company's HR strategy.

  • Lead organizational restructuring and workforce optimization initiatives.

  • Manage industrial relations and collective bargaining processes.

  • Design compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition frameworks.

  • Establish talent management, leadership development, and succession planning systems.

  • Improve performance management and employee productivity.

  • Develop SOPs to ensure compliance with labour laws and corporate governance requirements.

  • Advise the CEO, Managing Director, and Board on human capital planning and organizational transformation.

Terms & Conditions

  • Posting will be at PMDC Head Office, Islamabad.

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
