Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is looking for suitable candidates for contract-based positions at West Wharf, Dockyard Road, Karachi-74000.

The vacant positions include:

AM (KPT Desk) — 01 post

  • BE in Mechanical / Naval Architecture with PEC registration

  • More than 3 years of experience in ship repair estimation, planning, and client relationship management

  • Age up to 45 years

AM (Mechanical) — 01 post

  • B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institution

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution

  • Knowledge of ship repair processes, dry docking, maintenance, mechanical machinery, marine systems, fabrication, and OHSE regulations preferred

  • Age up to 45 years

AM (Electrical) — 01 post

  • B.Tech / DAE (Electrical) from a recognized institution

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution

  • Knowledge of ship repair processes, electrical maintenance, marine systems, and OHSE regulations preferred

  • Age up to 45 years

AM (Hull) — 01 post

  • B.Tech / DAE (Hull/Construction) from a recognized institution

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution

  • Knowledge of ship repair processes, dry docking, marine systems, fabrication, and OHSE regulations preferred

  • Age up to 45 years

Supervisor (Technical) — 03 posts

  • B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical / Welding) or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a shipyard or marine environment

  • Experience in hot work, welding, fabrication, and electrical projects preferred

  • Age up to 45 years

Fireman — 21 posts

  • Matric preferred, intermediate

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in relevant field

  • Firefighting training / course preferred

  • Age up to 45 years

AC Technician — 01 post

  • Middle / Matric

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems

  • Relevant trade course certification preferred

  • Age up to 35 years
