The Universities & Boards Department, Government of Sindh has invited applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Director of Engineering & Technical Services (Finance Cadre). Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Maximum 55 years

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess one of the following professional qualifications:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant)

  • ACCA

  • ACMA

The qualification must be from a recognized professional body.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounts, auditing, budgeting, taxation, or financial management.

  • Experience in senior management positions within the public or private sector.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

    • Financial planning and budgeting

    • Internal and external auditing

    • ERP-based financial systems

    • Public financial management

    • Government financial regulations

    • Procurement and development project financing (ADP/PSDP)

    • Corporate governance and compliance

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and monitoring annual budgets.

  • Managing financial planning and forecasting.

  • Supervising accounting and audit functions.

  • Ensuring compliance with Government financial rules and regulations.

  • Managing ERP-based financial systems.

  • Preparing financial reports and statements.

  • Monitoring development projects and expenditure.

  • Advising management on financial policies and strategic planning.

  • Strengthening internal financial controls and governance.
