The District Development & Monitoring Cell (DDMC) invites applications for the position of Deputy Director (DDMC) under consultancy on a fixed-term contract basis. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and monitoring development projects, supporting rural development, disaster management, and agriculture initiatives at the district level. Candidates should have a strong background in social sciences, civil engineering, agriculture, or disaster management, along with computer literacy and project management experience.

Eligibility

  • Master’s degree (MBA/MPA/MIT/MSC/Master) in Social Sciences, Civil Engineering, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Rural Development, or equivalent qualification

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • 4–7 years of experience in development projects, preferably in public/private sector or NGOs

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor development projects within the district

  • Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and data analysis

  • Collaborate with government departments, NGOs, and stakeholders

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards

  • Provide technical support in rural development, disaster management, and agricultural projects
