Appointment as President/CEO – Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)

The Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has announced a high-level executive vacancy for the position of President/CEO at its Head Office in Muzaffarabad. Applications are invited from highly experienced and qualified senior banking professionals who meet the eligibility criteria defined by the organization.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, risk management, and business growth of the bank in line with its institutional objectives and regulatory framework.

The selected candidate will be appointed on a 3-year contract basis, extendable upon mutual agreement, and will receive a market-based competitive salary package.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

Education & Experience:

  • Must be a career banker

  • Minimum 5 years experience at senior level (EVP or equivalent and above)

  • Strong understanding of banking business model, risk, operations, and governance

Education Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Graduation)

  • Preferred fields:

    • Banking

    • Finance

    • Economics

    • Business Administration

    • Related disciplines

Age Limit:

  • 40 to 65 years

  • Lead overall strategic direction of the bank

  • Manage operations, governance, and financial performance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (including SBP Fit & Proper criteria)

  • Oversee risk management and business growth initiatives

  • Strengthen institutional performance and banking services
